The band 30 seconds to Mars was pounded in 1998 by Jared Leto (born in 1971) and his elder brother Shannon (born in 1970). The group also featured guitarist Solon Bixler (now of Great Northern) and Kevin Drake (now of Polaroid Kiss). The next set of guitarist were Matt Wachter and Tomo Milicevic. The departure of Matt in 2007 forced Jared and Tomo to record bass for studio recordings and to find another bassist for live performances - Tim Kelleher. Braxton Olita (keyboards) was added to the touring lineup in 2009. The band has released 4 studio albums: "30 seconds to Mars" (2002), "A beautiful lie" (2005), "This is War" (2009) and "Love, lust, faith + dreams" (2013). Their "into the Wild Tour" broke touring records the band was giving live shows for 2 years all over the world. They performed 300 shows, the last one in December 7, 2011.
The long breaks between records being released were caused by the frontman's another passion - acting. The band even moved to Europe to record "A beautiful lie". A part of their last album "Love, lust, faith + dreams" was written in Łódź, Poland and it was recorded in India, of which influence you may hear in the song "Pyres of Varanasi".
Most of their videos were directed by Bartholomew Cubbins (a.k.a. Jared Leto).
The group has an international fanclub called "Echelon" - https://www.facebook.com/echelonfamily

First post. About everything and nothing.
Well, I don't really like blogs...
because I have some bad experience with them, but I hope this time it'll be better. So basically it's my homework and to be honest with you I have no idea what I'm gonna write here. Probably some movie reviews or just my thoughts about life or studying. Like last monday I was stuck in an elevator at my university. Fortunately I was with some friends so it wasn't that scary and at least I wasn't bored while we were waiting for more than 30 minutes for someone to save us. Some of girls had a sort of claustrophobia and the others started to feel some kind of anxiety. After 20 minutes the elevator seemed to be smaller than at the beginning and it was quite hard to breath because of the heat and not working good ventilator. But in the end we were lucky, because we didn't have any consequences after being late for English (and I'm not sucking up). So now we have a little problem with elevators and we prefer to use stairs even if the chance we're gonna stuck together again is very little.
And now some words about me: I like movies, comic books, rock music, books, foreign languages, cars and I love dogs. I don't like stupid and rude people, techno music, cats, worms, spiders ( but I like Spider-man) and traffic jams. I'm a member of Linkin Park Underground. I'm not a member of Echelon, but I enjoy listening to 30 seconds to Mars. I like Shakespeare's dramas, rainbows, chocolate and coffee. I'm talkative and sometimes mean, so I appreciate people who tolerate me and like me. At least I hope they do.
I think it's enough for the first post, because the lack of inspiration is already killing me and I really have no idea what I'm gonna write about next week. I can't get stuck in the elevator every week.
