Imagine Smoke + Mirrors - the newest Imagine Dragons' album

Well recently I bought the newest Imagine Dragons's music album (that super extra double golden limited edition with 20 songs) and I'm listening to it right now. I've already known a few songs from it, but now I'm listening to “Friction” and I think it's excellent.

In general I'm not disappointed, I like this kind of music, especially if there's a lot of drums and/or guitar (and bass).
There has to be a drum:)

Maybe they don't have another “Radioactive” but it's still good.
Imagine Dragons were formed in 2008 in the USA in Las Vegas by three Daniels and Ben (or officially Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon (whose name is also Daniel), Daniel Platzman and Ben McKee).

They were supposed to be called “3DB” but for some reason they thought it was a bad idea. I have know idea why;) The name “Imagine Dragons” is an anagram of their life motto, but they don't want to reveal what exactly it is. So there are many people trying to guess, one of the suggestions was: “My green gonads” whatever does it mean;p They said in one of the interviews they will reveal the true anagram but at the end of their career to get our attention again. I hope it won't be soon.
Their first album called "Night Visions" was a great succes, they even won a Grammy Award for the best rock performance (or something like that, I don't care, what matters is that they won:))

It's an exceptional band because I can listen to them with my mom and it doesn't happen very often. So they make music for everybody and their lyrics have some meaning, the music is different from this crappy thing (can I use “crappy” or is it too rude?) served on MTV, Viva etc.

They usually walk like "The Fellowship of the ring", Dan looks like Gandalf with hobbits, because he's very, very tall:)

"You are being watched..."

So now I'd like to tell you about one of my favourite TV series: “Person of Interest”. They've made four seasons for now and none of the episodes hasn't disappointed me. And that is an achievement, because it's not very common for me not to be able to predict an action or a conversation, this production always suprises me. It's so unusual for me that I'm not getting bored with it.

"You are being watched. The government has a secret system, a machine that spies on you every day. I know it because I built it. I designed the machine to detect acts of terror but it sees everything. Violent crimes involving ordinary people, people like you. Crimes the governement considered "irrelevant". They wouldn't act, so I decided I would. But I needed a partner, someone with the skills to intervene. Hunted by the authorities, we work in secret. You'll never find us, but victim or perpetrator, if your number's up... we'll find you" - that's how almost every episode starts.
It's a story of a Machine designed by Harold Finch – a computer genius. The Machine was supposed to predict national and world's threats and lead the government how to avoid these catastrophies. It includes not only terrorist attacks, but also murders of “irrelevant” people, which the government doesn't want to protect. That's why the Machine gives Finch their numbers that he could save them. Of course there's a catch – he never knows if he gets a number of an innocent person or a guilty one. And he needs help because he had a serious injury of his back, so he gets help from John Reese, a former CIA agent, spy, and on general awesome guy (played by Jim Caviezel, so it's nice to look at him;)). During the series they become best friends and save a lot of people. They also use some help from NYPD – det. Carter and det. Fusco. In the seconds season there's also agent Shaw, another smashing super cool awesome person who knows all the martial arts and how to use every gun. And she's hot and sometimes (or maybe most of the times) she doesn't know how to act like a human, which is funny or scary, it depends on the situation. If Mr Reese is a scalpel, she's a hammer - like Finch once said.
In the second season there's also another cool hero – a dog called Bear, who understands only (I think it was) Finnish (but I'm not sure)
because it used to be one of the dogs trained specially on army purposes, but it got to bad hands of some New York's mob and Mr Reese saved it.

From left: det. Carter, Root (sometimes evil, sometimes good), Harold Finch, John Reese, det. Fusco, agent Shaw.

Bear:)

The worst enemy so far

A pic of Finch and Reese working

The Machine shows also timeline which explains some plot

They have a board where they put photos and other informations about victims and criminals

And for the end something funny:)

I really recommend this TV production cause it's groovy, full of unpredictable action and humor.

Spider-man is coming back home!

And it happened! At last Spider-man will join the Avengers in Marvel Universe. That's a fantastic and smashing news! A few weeks ago Sony made a deal with Marvel that they will colaborate to create a new movie about New Yorkers' friendly neighbour, than he will meet the Avengers. I'm wondering if it will be before Ant-man or maybe in the same time they will both join the Marvel dream team of heros. One way or another, we won. Peter Parker will meet Tony Stark (Iron Man in case someone didn't know), dr Bruce Banner (or an enormous green monster - incredible Hulk (who everyone loves) well that depends on Bruce's mood), Steve Rogers (if he won't die in "Avengers: The Age of Ultron", but even if he does, Peter will meet the new Captain America - the Winter Soldier - James Buchanan Barnes, also known as Bucky, the best friend of Rogers'), Thor, Black Widow, Falcon and Hawkeye.

Now there's a problem who will play Peter Parker, I guess they want to make another origin story, so they need a young actor who could play a high school student, but I hope they won't do this for a third time in this century. I mean enough is enough. I've watched a video on youtube about who could/should play new Spider-man but I didn't like any of those actors. Perhaps a good choice would be to give a chance to a less-known actor Dylan O'Brien, who has starred recently in "Maze Runner". I think i've even read that he wanted to play him. Well, I wish him good luck!

And now another good news, but a little bit older: Jared Leto will play Joker in "Suicide Squad". And it's groovy. I think he will be a smashing Joker, he has those eyes full of insanity which will help him in creating his character, he has even already cut his hair and dyed them for the role. And he's trying to put on weight a little bit (read: he eats like a human, not like Harry Goldfrab in "Requiem for a dream"). But he's still a vegan, so I have no idea what does he eat besides fruits and vegetables. And soya milk. And of course "pierogis". And chinese noodle.

Now Marvel Studios has to make a deal with 20th Century Fox to bring us X-MEN and then when everyone will know each other, the fans will be happy. Me, personally I'd like to hear a conversation of Tony Stark and Rocket (from the Guardians of the Galaxy). I think it would blow our minds;)

Linkin Park Underground

I've mentioned that I'm a member of Linkin Park Underground. And now I'd like to explain what it is.

It's not just a fan club, it's more than just a community. People from all around the world sign in to talk about their favourite band and participate in their artistical projects.
Unfortunately you have to pay for being a member - it has several levels of membership, the cheapest package is the "Online Only" package which typically features pre-sale concert tickets if the band is touring that year, a squirrelmail email account ending in @linkinpark.com, participation in contests (depending on the country, as contests have legal issues), and access to the members-only website, the videos, photos, chatroom, and forum within.
But I think it;s worth it, if you love the guys and their music.
Nevertheless, if you really don't want to pay, they give you chance to be a LP soldier by creating LPU XIV Non-member Account - Free which includes:
- Creating your own LinkinPark.com profile
- Meeingt and interacting with other Linkin Park fans
- Posting on the official Linkin Park forum
- Commenting on posts and content
- Watching all LPTV episodes in the LPTV Theater
- Collecting Social Points by staying active in the community.
And this is how the loging site looks like:

As you can see, the picture reminds their latest album "The Hunting Party" and it's all created by Mike and other guys. I sometimes wonder what else their mind hide?
An interesting fact: last year they were on tour with 30 Seconds to Mars and for a moment with A Fire Inside and the tour was called "The Carnivore tour", well it's quite funny because more than a half of them is vegetarian or even vegan.
Mike also created back then "LinkinLog", it's a vlog on youtube, where Mike was talking about their tour, concerts, fans and recorded some funny stuff, like Chester and Jared singing some strange songs.

Linkin Park is my favourite band since 2003 after I heard "Session" at "The Matrix Reloaded" soundtracks, and I think it changed my life, I met new people who also listen to this kind of music, it opened my mind and on general it's one of my happy memories:)
